The Landesbühnen Sachsen (Saxon State Theaters) with their headquarters in Radebeul form our city's cultural center.
A visit to the Felsenbühne Rathen (Elbe Sandstone Mountains) is a cultural experience for everyone. Plays for young and old are performed here in a charming setting.
Activities in Dresden
Due to its old baroque town, Dresden is primarily the destination of culture and city travelers. But also for family vacationers, Dresden is always worth a trip! So you can take the park railroad to the Dresden Zoo and spend a varied day for young and old in our state capital.
Festivals and Nightlife
In the Radebeul and Dresden almost all year round, the most diverse children's and family festivals are organized - a visit is always worthwhile! For parents, Dresden Neustadt and Dresden's many theaters offer a varied nightlife that will make your vacation unforgettable!
A long-standing tradition and almost legendary in Radebeul are the Wine Festival and the Karl May Festival and the Dixieland Festival, and the Film Festival on the Elbe banks in Dresden.

Steamboats
The whole family's experience is also a trip with the historic steamboat fleet on the Elbe through the beautiful Elbe landscape. With these steamboats or with our old steam locomotive, but also with local transport or by car, you can get to all other tourist destinations in our area in an entertaining way with your whole family.
Activities for Kids
You can find outdoor and indoor climbing fun, of course, not only in the Elbsandsteingebirge! Leisure activities for the whole family are also available directly in our vicinity, e.g., Remmi-Demmi-Kinderland and the Adventure Park.
A little further away, but quickly accessible by car or train, are the amusement and adventure parks Plohn,
Tropical Island and Belantis.
Moritzburg Game Preserve
In the Moritzburg game preserve, many native animal species are shown. There is also the possibility to explore the surrounding area with horse-drawn carriages.
Parks for Children
A visit to the miniature park and the maze is also great fun for the whole family and brings variety for an entire day. Almost like in a real Hollywood movie, you can time travel back many millions of years in the dinosaur park.
